Day 14 Friday, July 8 1994

Elliott - Darwin

Report by Michael Page

Eaten alive by mosquito’s after sleeping out under the stars. Our morning tea stop was at the Daly Waters Roadhouse. We stopped for lunch in the park at Katherine.

Still driving and getting hotter, we pulled up at the Adelaide River War Cemetery for afternoon tea. We also saw the Crocodile Dundee Buffalo.

Our last long stretch of driving for the day into Darwin where we had no idea where we were going, but luckily found by members of the Darwin TLCC who guided us to the Howard Springs Caravan Park.
